ONE DAY CONFERENCE AND HALF DAY SITE VISITS ON SUSTAINABLE GREEN PRACTICES FOR CONTRACTORS

SCAL has organised a 1 day conference jointly with the Singapore Environment Council (SEC) on Sustainable Green Practices for Contractors in conjunction with the ASEAN Constructors Federation Meeting on 15 June 2010. We are honoured to have Ms Grace Fu, Senior Minister of State for National Development and Education, to grace the event. Some highlight of the conference include:

- Launching of Green and Gracious Builder's Guidebook by BCA
- Launching of SEC-SCAL ECO Certification Scheme for Contractors
- Sharing on Sustainable Green Practices by ASEAN represenatives and fellow contractors
- Half day site visit to BCA's Zero Energy Building and Samwoh Eco-Green Park on 14 June 2010. However, due to limited seats, the site visits will be based on a first-come-first served basis.
