The Singapore Contractors Association Ltd (SCAL) being the official representative of the construction industry in Singapore is principally committed to the industry in improving the standards of the industry and enhancing the status of her members and promoting the development of the industry.
SCAL Academy is established with the objective to plan and design training courses to address the industry’s training needs as well as to conduct training courses that will meet and contribute towards the development of the management and supervisory staff in the industry for higher skills, knowledge and attitudes for higher efficiency and productivity. SCAL Academy has conducted seminars and courses for the benefit of our construction industry’s practitioners. SCAL Academy also collaborates with academic institutions to provide Professional Certificate courses, Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses, Degree and Master Courses. This is to provide the opportunity for those who have many years of experience in the industry but lack the paper qualifications to upgrade. In the long run, SCAL Academy hopes to expand its training into the Asia-Pacific region such as Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and India.
