Singapore Association for the Visually Handicapped (SAVH)47 Toa Payoh Rise
The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) and Singapore Contractors Association (SCAL) have collaborated once again this year to help improve the facilities of the Singapore Association for the Visually Handicapped (SAVH).
Last year, SCAL provided the necessary manpower and tools to revamp the facilities of the massage centre and office areas within SAVH while BCA sourced for sponsorship or materials and equipment to enhance the accessibility of the building.
Similarly, BCA and SCAL have taken the initiative to improve the accessibility of the SAVH compound by undertaking various scopes of works by all four SCAL CSR committee members.
BCA and SCAL believe in taking the opportunity to contribute to the well-being of the community and the environment through various efforts to shape a sustainable, and friendly built-environment.
To foster a stronger relationship, BCA and SCAL will continue to work with each other on various fronts; on a professional level to champion the construction industry cohesively, and on a social level to build Singapore into an environment that is friendly, and sustainable, and raise further public awareness of the causes, and organisations we care for.
