Invitation to Work-Learn Technical Diploma (WLTD) sharing session

  1. In conjunction with SkillsFuture Earn and Learn Programme, ITE launched the Work-Learn Technical Diploma (WLTD) in Mechanical & Electrical Services Supervision in April 2018. Course participants will be equipped with skills and knowledge in M&E facilities coordination, inspection and supervision in the built environment sector.        
  1. In 2019,  WLTD in Vertical Transportation will also be introduced to equip participants with skills and knowledge to manage and supervise new lift installation, carry out maintenance, servicing and fault diagnostic. Delivered in partnership with the employers, the apprenticeship-based programme aims to retain ITE Nitec and Higher Nitec graduates in their course of studies. It also offers in-service workers a chance to deepen their skills in the field of Mechanical & Electrical Services Supervision or Vertical Transportation.
  1. Key Features of ITE Work-Learn Technical Diploma programme:
  • 2.5 year training duration
  • Trainees are full-time employees of company
  • ITE refers suitable candidates for selection by company
  • Theory & practical lessons conducted by ITE
  • On-the-Job Training conducted by employer based on agreed task list
  • Agreement signed between trainee, employer, surety and ITE
  • Nationally-recognised Technical Diploma from ITE
  • Funding Support from SkillsFuture Singapore
