Nomination for SkillsFuture Fellowships and SkillsFuture Employer Awards

The Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF) is inviting companies to submit nominations for the SkillsFuture Fellowships and SkillsFuture Employer Awards, previously announced by Deputy Prime Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam and Minister for Education (Higher Education and Skills) Ong Ye Kung, under SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG).

Background of the awards:

  1. SkillsFuture Fellowship recognizes Singapore Citizens who have acquired deep skills through significant work experience in particular industries or job functions. Individuals must be champions of lifelong learning and deeply committed to contributing to the skills development of others. Award recipients will receive a monetary award of $10,000 each to support their journey towards skills mastery in their respective field.
  1. Skillsfuture Employer Award recognizes employers who have made significant efforts in investing in their employees’ skills development and show exemplary support for SkillsFuture efforts, such as through the development of structured skills-based career pathways for their employees.

Both awards are conceptualized by the tripartite partners and evaluations will be done by a tripartite judging panel. In the inaugural year, up to 30 SkillsFuture Fellowships and 10 SkillsFuture Employer Awards will be given out. The detailed judging criteria are available on the SkillsFuture website at
