CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT IN TODAY’S BUILT ENVIRONMENT – RISKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Singapore Contractors Association Ltd (SCAL) and SCAL Academy are pleased to organise a one-day seminar on “Conditions of Contract in Today’s Built Environment – Risks & Responsibilities” on 17 August 2018 (Friday).
This is the 7th series of the seminar since its inception in 2012. This seminar is part of our continuous effort in building our members’ capability and helping them to raise their professionalism in contract administration and management in today’s Built Environment.
We are honoured to have Mr Wong Meng Meng, Senior Counsel and Founder-Consultant from Wong Partnership LLP to grace this event with a keynote address.
With industry undergoing transformation, experts from legal firms and practitioners will be covering topics such as Responsibilities of the various parties in Design for Safety and Contractual obligations with respect to BIM. Other topics include the REDAS D&B Conditions of Contract, a Case study on liability for defects and Recent developments in Security of Payment Act. SCAL’s recommendation for revision of Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC) which was submitted to government last year will also be shared during the seminar.
