As Singapore's newest National Service landmark takes shape in the heart of Marina Bay, NS Square presents challenges beyond those of a conventional construction project. Built beside water, within a dense urban environment and under significant programme constraints, the project requires a holistic approach towards workforce resilience, safety and operational excellence. Drawing from real project experiences, this session shares how leadership, collaborative partnerships and technology come together to build a sustainable, beautiful and safe site. It will highlight initiatives such as cooling garments, AI-assisted video analytics, exoskeletons and robotics to enhance worker well-being, reduce risk exposure and improve safety outcomes.
