Workplace safety and health (WSH) remains one of the biggest challenges in the construction industry, with incidents on site impacting both people and projects.

To help our members stay ahead of these risks, the SCAL WSH Committee invites you to a WSH Learning Journey – Site Visit, where you can observe how leading sites implement effective safety measures and maintain high WSH standards.

Site initiatives
  • Site setup implementation plan, site maintenance, and control of safety challenges across six scattered phases.
  • Rainwater and ECM management to ensure safe working conditions in all weather.
  • Traffic and logistics planning, along with pedestrian safety, supported by clear segregation of routes.
  • Phase-to-phase safety coordination to consistently uphold WSH standards.
Important note:
 
  • As spots are limited and on a first-come, first-served basis, registration is limited to ONE site visit per participant and are reserved for SCAL members only. Please visit SCAL member directory HERE to find out whether your company is a SCAL member company.
  • Each company may send a maximum of 2 representatives per site visit
  • Participants are expected to arrange your own transportation to the site. More details to follow regarding parking lots/ spaces nearing to event date. 
  • Participants must be adequately attired with their own hard hat, safety boots and yellow/green safety vest.
  • Attendance does not qualify for any accreditation/ license renewal.
  • SCAL reserves the right to cancel, postpone or change the venue, date and time of the course should there be any unforeseen circumstances.
