Revised Code of Practice for Environmental Control Officer for Construction Sites

Presentation synopsis:

The ECO(CS) scheme was introduced on 1 April 2000. Under this scheme, qualified personnel are trained to handle matters relating to environmental management, focusing on areas such as vector control, noise control, food hygiene and waste management. The Code of Practice (COP) for ECO(CS) stipulates the Roles and Responsibilities of the ECO(CS) and Occupier of the Construction Site and serve as a reference to guide them in their daily work. In this presentation, NEA will share the recent updates to the Code of Practice for ECO(CS) and the mandatory reporting templates (SECP & SECR).
