Building Safety Culture from the Ground Up

Presentation Synopsis:

Large construction companies are prioritising safety culture. As they do, they will likely spread that responsibility down to their sub-contractors—eventually making it an expected standard to work with them. Contractors who build safety culture now won't scramble when it becomes necessary. Safety culture isn't just about procedures and checklists. It turns on three things: whether workers actually report problems; whether supervisors listen and respond; and whether the team notices when someone is struggling before carelessness or mistakes happen.
