Andrew Shuttleworth (MBA) has worked in tech for startups, scaleups and MNCs since 1999, spending 18 years in Japan (becoming a fluent Japanese speaker) and moving to Singapore in 2017. In 2023 he saw the opportunity for innovation and sustainability in the built environment and joined Obayashi Corporation.

He is currently Chief Strategy Officer of Obayashi Construction-Tech Lab Singapore (OCLS). OCLS currently focuses on deployment and R&D of construction robots. In addition we are supporting the upcoming pilot use of hydrogen fuel cell generators on a construction site in 2026.
