Real-World Use Case Sharing - From Tender Criteria to Competitive Advantage: Embedding ESG in Construction
Presentation Synopsis:
The construction industry faces mounting pressure to meet evolving ESG criteria, from green building certifications and government procurement mandates to investor and client expectations. Beyond compliance, the real opportunity lies in turning sustainability into a competitive edge.
Bringing together perspectives from regulators, procurement entity, technology, and contractors, this panel explores how the entire construction value chain can move in step on ESG. From navigating the latest sustainability tender requirements, to ESGpedia's digital tools empowering the built environment, and real-world cases on sustainability reporting and embodied carbon transparency through EPDs and product carbon footprints – panellists will discuss how ESG criteria are reshaping green procurement, operations, and business strategy across the ecosystem, as well as the best practices and immediate next steps that construction firms should take to stay ahead.
