As the construction industry advances toward Singapore’s Green Plan 2030, the call for sustainability and responsible business practices has never been more urgent. The SCAL ESG Seminar brings together industry leaders, sustainability practitioners, and experts to explore actionable pathways for decarbonisation and long-term ESG value creation within the Built Environment sector.
The seminar will spotlight management commitment to sustainability and workforce training as essential enablers of meaningful change. Sessions will delve into practical experiences such as corporate electrification journeys, renewable energy adoption, and Scope 1, 2, and 3 carbon reporting. Speakers will share real-world challenges, strategies to overcome data collection and verification hurdles.
Interactive panel discussions will further explore how companies—especially those without dedicated sustainability teams—can embark on their ESG journey, achieve cost savings through green practices, and futureproof themselves against evolving environmental and governance expectations. The programme will also address the “Social” and “Governance” aspects of ESG, highlighting fair labour practices, workforce welfare, ethical standards, and transparency as integral pillars of sustainable business.
Through this seminar, participants will gain insights, frameworks, and success stories to help them accelerate their decarbonisation efforts and strengthen their organisations’ ESG readiness in a rapidly transforming construction landscape.
