About the Event


In conjunction with International Migrants Day on 18 December 2025, SCAL, is pleased to host the SCAL Community Day for Migrant Workers - a heartfelt initiative to recognise and celebrate the vital role migrant workers play in shaping Singapore’s built environment.

What to Expect


This meaningful event will bring together our industry in a spirit of appreciation and community. The event will feature a market-style experience where migrant workers can redeem items of their choice through coupons. These items, contributed by companies will include essentials such as clothing, household and cleaning products, and lifestyle items that can ease their daily living costs.

Beyond the marketplace, the day will feature interactive booth games, engaging sharing sessions, and a hearty lunch or snacks, providing opportunities for connection, fun, and celebration in a festive atmosphere. In addition, migrant workers can showcase their talents on the Stage to Shine and compete for a trophy in recognition of their performance.

Through the collaboration of SCAL members, sponsors, and partners, this initiative aims to uplift the well-being of migrant workers while fostering stronger bonds across the construction industry.

Each worker will enjoy a day filled with engaging activities — from redeeming items at the market-style carnival to participating in light games and sharing a hearty meal with fellow workers. 🎤🕺 Showcase Your Workers’ Talent @  Stage to Shine!🎤🕺

Celebrate your migrant workers’ creativity and team spirit! Encourage your workers to take part in Stage to Shine, a lively singing and dancing segment where they can showcase their talents on stage.

Each performance should be between 3 to 5 minutes, and the Best Performing Act will receive a prize award of $500 in recognition of their talent and effort!
